An internet marketer refers individuals who have signed up to something they have offered as “their list”. These people subscribe to so that they can get something valuable from the marketer. Usually, marketers have an opt-in box or sign-up box which has been posted either on their blog or website. This box is where they get people to subscribe by offering something valuable for free.

Commonly, these free items consist of e-books, reports, tips and info, newsletters, podcast, teleseminar, e-course, and insider secrets.

Once an individual signs up to the list, they will get a freebie and in return, the marketer gets their email address. This is important because once you have your subscribers’ email addresses; you can then build a relationship with them, earn their trust, and eventually sell products to them.

Studies have usually shown that a marketer needs to get an offer in front of someone 7 times before they make a sale. This is why a list is such a valuable asset because you can contact those on your list anytime you want. You of course can sell products to individuals who have only visited the website once, but normally, there are people who go away once they are being offered a product. Once a marketer is able to get people on the list, they know have the ability to market more products to them the next time.

The list does not only serve as a directory where you can sell your products to people, but it also can be a very valuable tool to get feedback on ideas that the marketer may have. This can be done very easily by setting up a poll or a survey. Also, if your smart, you can collect their their answers and base your next product on that. Once you follow what your list suggests, you can get so many buyers.

The Difference between a Cold and a Warm List

Usually, once you give away freebies, you end up getting a cold list. This is because you have lured such people only for the freebies; it is up to you to find some ways you can keep these people interested. But before you begin promoting to these people, you should give value first. If you send out emails to these people which will contain a little of your personality and a no-strings-attached fact sheet, you can be able to build rapport with your list. Eventually however, you can start throwing in a little promotion. But there really is no need to rush.

Although it is true that a few freebie seekers will choose out of the list once they receive the free item, they really are not planning to buy anything anyway.

On the other hand, a cold list which has been prepared and are now eager to purchase from you can be called a warm list. Because you have taken the time to send them good information and build a relationship with the, you are more likely to get sales.

It is important to remember to keep sending value along with your emails. Once you start to just send promotional emails, you are abusing your subscriber list and even individuals who used to be happy with your service, will opt out.

In short, it’s smart of you to build a list, but only if you plan on treating them well. A good rule of thumb is that you should send out the type of emails which you would also like to receive.

Before a product is launched, there are several things which must be considered. One of these is if you should have obtained an affiliate program. But even if you get an affiliate program, you’re still not yet ready to launch the product. Some tools are still needed to be set up for your affiliates prior to asking them to join you.

Although having an affiliate is one way to sell your products, they would still need a little help. An affiliate program not only does the technical work, it ensures that your affiliates get paid properly as well. You still need to produce an affiliate page complete with promotional tools which would help them sell the products. Although it may seem time consuming on your part, if you have these tools, you will get more money in the end.

If there are a variety of tools, your affiliates will be able to select the ones they like depending on their affiliate marketing style. You should provide everyone’s preference so that they can utilize their preferred method for marketing.

If you’re unsure what an affiliate page looks like, you can always take a peek at one of mine The Newbie Workbook. This page not only contains tools but it also has a little sales page which tells visitors why they should be your affiliate.

Determine if the the product you are thinking about promoting has an affiliate page that looks nice, if they seem to care, and if they provide their affiliates ongoing support. Also, identify if they have a blog or forum where affiliates are being helped to succeed. Pat attention to all these things so that you can make your page much better.

There are some things which you can include in your toolbox such as keywords, advertisements in various sizes and shapes, link cloaker, articles, auto link changer, emails, auto-responder series, ebook covers, free reports, testimonials, video product reviews, and so many more.

If it’s your very first product to be launched, you would still want to include these things.

Having a good variety of promotional materials is recommended especially if you’re working with some big names. They are already expecting these tools from you, and if you don’t have them you will be hurting your chances of obtaining some big time promoters.

It is also good if your affiliate page has instructions so that new affiliates can be told what they need to do. The reason for this is because some of your affiliates might be beginners. As an example, it would be nice if you could provide step by step instructions in order to help the new affiliates.

No matter what, your end goal is to make money and having affiliates promote your products makes it a lot eaiser than going at it alone.

First off, article marketing is not something new. It has acutally been around for quite some time and has been used quite effectively by many a marketer. Even offline, collaborations exist between compaines and newspapers. The company will create the content and the newspaper would get to publish it.  This way the writer of the aritcle gets some attention due to the “by line” and the publisher makes a little money because it then sells it’s puplication. The internet has made this process so much easier because you don’t have to use a puplisher that produces a physical product! I believe that internet marketing needs article marketing and that article marketing NEEDS to be a part of internet marketing.

One of the best things about article marketing is that it is free! Businesses and companies can freely advertise by creating articles, and internet marketing campaigns also benefit by the creation of content. To put that into simple terms, the more stuff you have on the net, the better chance that someone is going to see it and possibly put some money in your pocket. It is no secret that many of the front internet marketers travel into can be expensive, but article marketing will cost you notihing more than your time. Seo your articles properly and you can sit back and enjoy free organic traffic from Google as well for a long time to come.

Building a powerful internet marketing business is something that all marketers attempt to achieve and article marketing is one of the best ways to go about it. Many of the forms of internet marketing do not hold enough weight to put enough money in your pocket to be successful by themselves. While there definitely are a few, most do not hold up to the astounding results you can get with article marketing. Not only will you be building links back to your site with articles, you will also be branding yourself (or your pen name), making yourself an expert in what ever niche field you have entered. Don’t underestimate what it means to be known as a “expert” in your field. People will be tracking you down to get your opinion on things and looking for new information you will be putting out.

If you really want to create a effective business online, article marketing is a great choice. There have been thousands of people and companies that have been vastly successful using only article marketing strategies. Now I’m not saying to put all your eggs into one basket and rely solely on article marketing. It’s never wise to put all your chips on the table when the game is still young, but you can surley put some good cash in your pocket by doing nothing other than article marketing.
